Traveling in Spain. What test should I do to travel between communities?
Given the current health situation, before embarking on a journey it is necessary to be well informed to ensure a safe and unforgettable experience.
Based on the global health situation, many people opt for national tourism instead of travelling abroad. In Spain, each autonomous community, according to the cumulative incidence of cases of contagion, establishes a series of sanitary measures and requirements for those travelers who wish to visit them.
CANARY ISLANDS AND BALEARIC ISLANDS
They require a negative PCR test performed up to 72 hours prior to the flight, or a negative Antigen test performed up to 48 hours prior to the flight; and the following form must be filled in before boarding https://viajarabaleares.ibsalut.es/formulario/? locale=es. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from such tests. In the case of access to one of these Islands without negative proof, it will be economically sanctioned.
No proof of any kind will be required to travel between the islands, either by plane, by boat or in the environment of your choice. No PCR is needed to travel from the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands to the peninsula, that is, it is only required at the entrance of the islands, not at the exit of these.
Residents of the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands who wish to travel to the peninsula, the costs of the tests will be paid by the Public Health Services of each autonomous community.
PENINSULA, CEUTA AND MELILLA
They do not require any type of diagnostic test of COVID to tourists. It is not necessary to be vaccinated or to carry the European Digital Covid Certificate showing the negative tests that have been carried out or whether the disease has been overcome or not.
